|Recommended: YesFrom A Long Time Resident — I've been a long time resident, and one of the main attractions for me has been the single level and the quiet atmosphere.
One thing I am not so happy about lately is the late night sounds of one or more people possibly children running and stomping around loudly in what sounds like the attic as late as 2a. The sounds I hear are coming from behind and above me, and while very annoying, I have no idea what is truly going on, and it is not a normal thing I'm used to.
When it rains, water often sits under the building and causes a very bad, eye burning smell to come up into the apartment building 5 , but I do appreciate that maintenance makes sure that the water is sucked up to keep that smell from occurring most of the time it rains. When not done, it is awful and it's embarrassing when entertaining company. The best thing I like about Cedar Ridge is the new management team those I've met They are friendly and easy to speak with about anything. But what happened to the phone system
I'm not so happy about the new fees, but if it keeps from overall rising rent costs, I can deal with it.
Overall, this has been and is a nice, basically quiet community complex.

|Recommended: YesOkay Place to Live — I’ve been here for a year and 4 months… water, sewer, and trash is included for now . When I first moved here I was told they were remodeled apartments, but they just repainted and spray painted. And put down some rollout flooring. The wood is getting dry rot in the bathroom. The heating unit is like living in a hotel. Office staff and maintenance changes every few months. My shortest maintenance request took 55 days. Usually it takes 3 months to get anything fixed. May as well try and fix it yourself or learn to live without it. I stay because it’s quiet for the most part and I don’t like moving.
